Independent winter-operations guide for the Champlain Valley. We are not a snow contractor — requests are passed to independent local contractors.

Start with the property

Build a snow-service request.

Share the access, surface, grade, service choices, and timing that matter. Your request goes to the team behind this site, who match it to an independent contractor working your route area.

Questions to settle before the snow flies

What happens after I submit this form?

The request is reviewed against the route area and the property details you provide, then passed to an independent contractor working that area if the fit is right. If it is not, you are told that rather than left waiting.

Is this a booking or a contract?

Neither. Submitting the form does not create a service agreement, reserve a route position, obligate any contractor to accept the property, or obligate this site to find one. Any service you receive comes from a separate agreement between you and that contractor.

What details actually matter on this form?

Surface, approximate dimensions, grade, turnaround room, where snow can be stored, what needs clearing besides the driveway, and any access constraint. Those decide the price and whether the property is serviceable at all — far more than the town does.

Why do you need the property address?

Because coverage is decided by address, not by town. The travel path, the route line it sits near, and safe access for the equipment the property needs can only be assessed from the actual location.

Do I have to give a phone number?

No, it is optional. An email address is required so there is a way to respond. Providing a number usually shortens the exchange when a question about the property needs a quick answer.

What is done with my information?

It is stored so a contractor can evaluate the property, passed to that contractor, and kept while the request is active and for up to 24 months afterwards. It is never sold, rented or traded to anyone, and no advertising or analytics tracker runs on this site.

How quickly will I hear back?

No response time is promised anywhere on this site, and one should be treated with suspicion where it is. Requests are reviewed in the order they arrive; volume rises sharply once the first accumulation of the season lands, which is the practical argument for asking in September rather than December.

Can my request be declined?

Yes. Route capacity, travel distance, turnaround space, equipment fit, and access that cannot be made safe are all real reasons a property is declined, and a plain no is the honest outcome when a route genuinely cannot support the property.

Will I get a price from this?

Not from the form. A real price comes from a contractor who has measured the property and knows their own remaining capacity. The planning ranges published on this site — $45–$75 for a short paved residential visit, $75–$160 for a long or unpaved one — exist to make that conversation shorter.

Can I request commercial or multifamily service here?

Yes. Commercial, HOA, multifamily, association-road and construction-site requests all go through the same form; the property type selection routes them. Commercial requests benefit from more detail about pedestrian areas, delivery windows and accessible routes than a residential one needs.

What if I only need one service, like sanding?

That is a valid request and the message field is the place to say so. Standalone service prices differently, because a contractor already travelling to a property absorbs the trip into an existing stop while a single-service call carries the whole journey.

Why is there a bot check on this form?

To stop automated submissions from filling the queue, which is otherwise a constant problem on a public form. It is a privacy-preserving check that does not track you across websites or profile your behaviour for advertising.

How do I ask for my information to be deleted?

Submit the form with "delete my information" in the message field, or use it to ask what is held. There is no fee, the request is honoured regardless of which state you live in, and if it is refused you are told why.
